This is a well known advice, but lots of people don’t pay heed to this and blindly opt for a credit card. Choose the right credit card, keeping in mind your payment and spending habits, along with other important things. If you tend to hold balances on your card, then you should go a card that has a low fixed interest rate. Look if the card charges an annual fee or not, and if it does, then see if its rewards are even worth it or not. If not, go for a card that does not charge an annual fee and offers the same rewards.
