13. Right to dispute your credit bill

According to the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), enacted in 1974, you can dispute your credit card bill. If you don’t want to pay for a charge or a certain card purchase, then you can debate about it with your card issuer. You can withhold such payments, till the issuer investigates about it. Further, you can contest under several scenarios, for instance, if you didn’t make the purchase, or if the amount is incorrect.
